Buffalo Cuttin' Cowgirl

Howdy, I go by my nickname, Skunk, a name that no doubt one would ever forget or confuse with anybody else. I am the daughter of the well known cutting horse trainer, Buster Smith, who owned and trained the hall of fame AQHA Bueno Chex, King Fritz and many others. I have been training and working with cutting horses along side of my father for over 20 years. I was born and raised around horses. I started riding by the time I could walk and was showing at age 6. I met and married my husband James in 1992 and I took a brief break to raise our family and we moved to California. Since returning home to Washington in 2002, I have been living out my childhood dream and following in my Dad's well imprinted foundation. I am in Thurston County 5mins off I-5 exit 88, near the speedway. While your horse is in my care, my philosophy is to make a complete horse. I want a  horse that is well mannered and respectful, happy and that enjoys his/her job.
